The Pulse Xperience 2024

Labor Day weekend saw the first ever Pulse Xperience brought to life. Right out of Charlotte, NC, this two-day festival shed light on local artists and creatives who were able to display their craft and put it on full display. Held at the Blackbox Theater, this event brought artists such as Deniro Farrar, De’Semaj & Nick Grant to the main stage along with an array of fellow up and coming artists. We were honored to interview the many faces of the Pulse Xperience to gain insight on exactly what it feels like to be apart of an event of this caliber. After arriving to the venue Saturday evening, I did not know what to expect walking through the doors of the Blackbox Theater. My team and I walked into an eccentric & vibrant world where we were met with the friendly staff of the Pulse Xperience who were attentive throughout the entire weekend. The venue itself was very spacious with a room dedicated to the musical performances that would be taking place. Not only would attendees be able to watch their next favorite artist perform, but they were also able to sign up for an open mic session in the Side Room. This was a space made for people to relax and lounge all while having the entertainment of a live DJ and aspiring artists. Soon after setting up and the start of the festival, we were able to capture all of the festival’s greatest moments. Day one saw Dinero Farrar headline the show with a performance that encapsulated the atmosphere of the event perfectly. South Carolina’s own, Nick Grant headlined the second day of the festival to wrap up the weekend.

This event left me hoping for another Pulse Xperience. This was an event that has the potential to be one of North Carolina’s biggest musical festivals. Displaying local talent and artistry that embraces genuine togetherness. Thus, making it one of the best event Cozy Candids has been apart of this year.
